If your windows no longer enhance the curb appeal of your house,
shield it from the elements or filter out noise, it may be time to
replace them with new ones that will improve your home’s beauty, reduce
your energy bills and increase your comfort.
Bob Wittnebel, a veteran Midwest Construction design consultant, sat down with customers from Mason City, IA who needed to make their home more energy efficient and comfortable by replacing the 1960's era front windows. Their large living room window was drafty and the windows would not open properly anymore. Not to mention it had lost much of curb appeal it once held.
Bob suggested giving it a more updated look with a Uniframe 3 lite casement unit with perimeter grids. This suggestion offered an uncluttered view with a new larger center window and a set of high energy efficiency window. It gave them a nice view to the outside and made the living room a more comfortable place year round (not to mention the energy savings). The home owners are very happy with their finished project and we think it is “clearly” a great window update.
