Uniframe Replacement Windows used in Non-Residential Projects

Midwest Construction Crews installed Uniframe Replacement Windows in Non-Residential Project (Commercial Buildings).

Globe Gazette Newspaper has a property in Osage, Iowa that houses their sales and distribution center for the North Iowa based Newspaper. The building was finished in 1946 and had been used as a retail location with apartments and offices on the 2 floor

Most commercial buildings were set up with a store front and in the back of the building double hung windows were installed to allow ventilation.

Stahl Travel Services Inc., located in Des Moines, Iowa had pretty much the same situation. An older, well built commercial building, with a storefront and offices with outdated windows.

Our crews installed new Custom Built Uniframe Replacement windows in these buildings. The benefit of using custom built replacement windows is that each window is individually measured for that opening. This allows our installers the ability to install the window into the

opening, insulate and seal the new window and still have the original interior trim with no expensive patching of the interior sheet rock or plaster and no need to tie into the siding or in this case, brick.

The buildings had the original wood windows with single glaze glass and aluminum storm windows that might have provided an R-1 insulating factor. The Uniframe Replacement Windows feature R-Core Insulated master frame and sash frames with R-4.2 insulated glass packs to save energy! Since the windows are made out of New Generation Vinyl (uiPVC) they are completely maintenance free and simply tilt or crank out you’re for safe and easy cleaning.
