Bob Wittnebel, a 27 year veteran Midwest Construction design consultant, sat down with some prospective window customers from Mason City, Iowa who needed to update their old Bow Window to increase energy efficiency and cut down on the maintenance.
Their large living room Bow window was installed when the home was originally built in the 1960’s and had become very drafty and wouldn’t open properly anymore. Bob suggested reconstructing window units to fit the existing Bow window opening exactly, thus avoiding any extra interior or exterior work.
The new Bow window offered the homeowners an updated look with added energy efficiency. Not to mention it looks beautiful!
