Midwest Construction removed the existing Masonite/Hard Board siding and gutters and downspouts and hauled away.
After all of the siding was removed from the exterior walls, the walls were inspected for rot and any rotten sheeting was replaced.
Window and door tape were installed around all windows and doors to prevent and water or air infiltration. Next all outer walls of the home and attached garage were covered with Grip Tite House Wrap.
Windows and door trim were covered with custom bent aluminum PVC coil stock. A special tool called a brakebuddy was used to form all of the decorative lines in the coil stock to add strength and to make the trim look like real brick mold trim.
All of the soffits and fascia on the home were covered with American Classic Soffit System and custom bent PVC aluminum coil stock.
These homeowners choose American Classic Insulated Vinyl siding, Double 6 profile.
The home took a little over a week to side and that includes cleaning up all construction debris.
