Vinyl siding is an exterior cladding and needs to have extra steps taken to prevent water and or air from infiltration the home.
Midwest Construction follows vinyl siding Installation Techniques set for by the Vinyl Siding Institute of America and recommended procedures by the manufacturers of vinyl siding, house wraps and window/door tape.
As the picture shows this home was wrapped with Breathe EZ House wrap and Green Guard window and door tape to prevent any water or air infiltration.
American Classic insulated vinyl siding was installed on all outer walls of home including insulated outside corner post.
All window and door casings have been cover with custombent aluminum PVC coil stock and then sealed with the window and door tape.
Gutter and down spouts were removed to cover the wood soffit and fascias with American Classic vinyl soffit system and custom bent aluminum PVC fascia. New 5 inch seamless gutters and 3x4 down spouts were installed to give this home a brand new look at the same old address.
