The home was built in the 1950’s and at some point in the early 1980’s the previous homeowners had a bay window installed into the home.

Since the size of the existing bay window was no longer a standard size theses homeowners were in for a major remodeling project.

They invited in some local contractors whose names were referred to them and all but one company was going to remove the existing bay window and install a bigger one that required a total reframing of the opening, new interior and exterior trim, new exterior siding, filling in the sheetrock, taping, mudding, sanding then, painting the exterior and interior around the new window.
