The home was built in the early 1970’s and had most of the windows replaced by the 2 owners in the late 1990’s and now it’s was time for a new patio door.

Back when the home was constructed the patio door size was called a Wisconsin Size Door, patio doors were one size until they became popular and then you had 4-5 patio door manufacturers making what they thought should be a standard size patio door. After coming together at the request of the architects the door manufacturers came up with standard sizes.

This home was one of those homes built with a true Wisconsin size door, good news is, we have those sizes and others available. This means no tearing up the sheet rock and siding to fit your new patio door into your home. No patching up the siding on the outside, no sheet rock finishing or painting. We can truly custom build one to fit the existing opening.
