In the last couple of weeks, with the nice weather and 4 of 14 home shows under our belt, the showroom was very brisk. I was visiting with a couple from the Des Moines, Iowa area that stopped into our Grimes, Iowa showroom looking at our windows. They explained they met us at the home show and wanted to stop in to take a closer look at the windows and ask a few questions.

They loved the woodgrain interior look ecoSmart has to offer and some of the other features over the Renewal by Anderson, but because the Anderson name is so big they just wanted to confirm some differences. They liked the fact that Anderson was not made of vinyl but of an alternative material that they claimed will not expand and contract. The alternative material is basically wood shavings. It’s made up of reclaimed wood fiber and PVC polymer that is fused together and is unique to Andersen. So it has vinyl in it and yes wood. Vinyl and even this material will slightly expand.

  

The next question they asked was about service? They wanted to get the details of our warranty. Is the frame and all moving parts warranted for a lifetime, glass packs for broken seals, and what happens if the glass gets broken, should I take it to the glass shop to have it fixed.

After answering these questions with one word YES, Our warranty will cover all of those issues if they should arise.
