They visited with Nick Westphal, at The Des Moines Home and Garden Show. We coordinated our goals for the initial consult via email over several weeks before they made it back to Iowa again for the first in-person in-home consultation. After the initial visit, there were several more weeks of emails to coordinate the appropriate product and color for each tiny detail to maintain its original style and to be true to the architecture.

Siding Production Manager, Zane Kantaris, was very helpful making sure we had the right amount of materials for each specific product and color, since much of it was special order.

We coordinated a second in-person consultation when they were back in Iowa a month later. We made sure to have all products and colors clarified and approved (we mailed color fan decks to California for them), and the project outline was detailed via email in advance. When they returned, all that was left to discuss was pricing. They approved the cost of the project and we placed the order.

Midwest Construction then coordinated each install to fit their traveling schedule. Roofing project was completed first, installing Malarkey Vista shingles. The second phase the installation of the 11 EcoSmart windows. Both of those projects were completed with the homeowner still in California. They wanted to witness and oversee the complex siding project.

The morning after they flew in, Zane, I, Joe, the siding installer issued the job, and both homeowners met at the house, for a walk around inspection. Joe had some installation ideas that he suggested to help with the aesthetic appearance of the metal trim work that the homeowner liked, and the installation went perfectly.
