Kellogg, Iowa 50135
Farmhouse updated with American Classic Insulated Siding and EcoSmart Replacement windows.
Lee Sykes:
Lee, met with these Kellogg, Iowa Homeowners to discuss options for siding and windows for their older farm home.
The homeowners wanted to end maintenance and needed energy efficient products to help reduce the drafts in the winter and hold in the air conditioning in the summer.
With older homes you never really know what is in the walls for insulation, if there is any at all.
Lee measured all of the outer walls for siding, including all measurements to cover all of the soffits and fascias on the home. Lee also inspected all of the exterior walls, window sills and casings, and door casings for rot and specified new lumber for these areas.
Once Lee sat down with this couple to find out what was their goals were for this project, Lee went to work answering all of their questions on the products specified and the installation procedures.
