Des Moines, Iowa homeowners, Have A Brand New House At The Same Old Address!
Alex Higgins, Senior Design Consultant met these Des Moines, Iowa homeowners at the 2019 Des Moines Home & Garden Show. They stopped by the Midwest Construction booth to look at siding options. The homeowners had very specific questions as their home was built in 1972 and felt they could use extra insulation to help keep the homes outer walls warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.
Alex showed them the American Classic Insulated Siding System including some of the insulation options, colors and profiles at the booth. He then scheduled an appointment with them to stop by inspect all of the outer walls of the home, measure each wall and give them an exact cost down to the penny.

Midwest Construction removed the gutters, aluminum soffit and fascia and the builder’s grade vinyl siding that was installed 10 years ago. Midwest Construction's crew covered the window and door openings with custom bent PVC aluminum coil stock with brick mold pattern. All of the soffits and fascia boards were cover with American Classic Vinyl Soffit System and custom bent PVC covered aluminum fascia to eliminate any need to ever paint that area again. All of the outer walls of the home were wrapped with house wrap. All openings were sealed with window/door tape to prevent any air or water infiltration. Last but not least, American Classic Insulated Vinyl System: Double 6 - Olive was installed. The job site was cleaned up daily and all tools secured. The job was started on June 6th and finished up on June 10th, 2019
