Des Moines, Iowa homeowners hire Midwest Construction to install: New Siding – New Windows – Patio Cover.
The home is well over 150 years old and sits on a blacktop road leading out of Des Moines.
These homeowners bought the home in 1990 and a couple years later hired a company to install vinyl siding. The siding looked good the first few years but then the problems started. The siding was fading, buckling, and rippling on the wall and when it got windy it blew off the wall.
Troy Deaton, Senior Design Representative with Midwest Construction since 1991, was issued this appointment. Troy sat down with the homeowners to discuss their wants and needs for the upcoming project. New windows, patio cover and new siding that wouldn’t fade, ripple or blow off the home.
Troy went outside and started measuring and inspecting each wall. Upon inspection, Troy noticed a couple of areas that may need some attention after we removed the existing siding.
Troy went over the materials we would be specifying for their project, explained the installation process, explained the extra charges that may be incurred to repair any surprises we may uncover, and left them with their cost. Since this was a big project they asked Troy to follow up in a couple of weeks as they needed to get other estimates to compare. Troy followed up like they had asked and went back to write up the order.
