American Classic Insulated Siding Installed for Norwalk, Iowa Homeowners!
The home was built in 1978. The homeowners did regular maintenance, painting, and repairing soft wood but at some point the wood wouldn’t hold paint anymore so they made the decision to look for new siding for their home.

Nick Westphal was working the booth at the 2019 Iowa State Fair and met this Norwalk, Iowa couple. The homeowners were familiar with Midwest Construction. They’d seen the testimonial TV commercials, heard them on Van and Bonnie radio show, and had seen some jobs in the neighborhood and decided to stop in and check out the displays.
Nick showed them some options, disused how to take care of the soft or rotten wood, and they invited Nick out for an exact cost.
Nick inspected and measured the home while the homeowners selected profiles and colors and additional insulation options.
Nick explained the American Classic Insulated Siding, how Midwest Construction would repair the soft and or rotten wood, how the house wrap, window and door tape are applied and finally how the siding is installed according to the Vinyl Siding Institute Installation Instructions.
Nick gave them all of the information, including an exact cost for the project. The homeowners had invited 3 other companies out to bid the project and they asked Nick to follow up in a couple of weeks. Nick followed up and he was invited back out to get their new siding ordered.
As you can see in the before, during and after photos we had to rebuild a wall that was affected by water damage.
