EcoSmart Patio Door Installation

Midwest Construction recently finished a patio door installation for these Des Moines, Iowa Homeowners.

The ranch style home had a 36 inch door going out to their back yard and these homeowners have always wanted to replace it with a patio door.

The homeowners were very familiar with Midwest Construction. They have seen the testimonial TV commercials, Van and Bonnie radio spots, state fair and home show booths. When the time came to make the call, Midwest Construction received the opportunity to give them a cost.

After the homeowners collected all of the bids/estimates, the decision was to go with Midwest Construction, even though the bid was almost 20% higher than the other 2 bids.

6 weeks later, Midwest Construction’s crew was scheduled to install the patio door. The crew removed the existing storm & entrance door, and removed siding and interior trim. Midwest Construction’s crew needed to widen the opening, build and add a new header, add framing and insulate the opening. The patio door was installed, along with all new interior and exterior trims. Midwest Construction’s crew picked up and hauled away all of their construction debris. The job took about 4.5 hours from start to finish.
