EcoSmart Replacement Windows Installed For Homeowners on Lake Panorama in Panora, Iowa.

The home was built in the late 1970’s on Lake Panorama. The homeowners happen to attend the same church as I do. Late last summer they invited me to their lake home to give them a cost for new windows and patio doors. The first step was to get them into our showroom so they could view and operate full size window displays. I answered all of their questions on the operation and energy efficiency. I also let them know I have done window work for a few other members of our church and to reach out to them to confirm our company and products are all that we say. In the showroom, we scheduled an appointment to meet them and get the proper measurements. I inspected the home for any issues or problems when install new windows. We sat down and went over the installation details.

After the inspection we found the exterior sills and casings were rotted and allowed water to infiltrate and caused damage the framing. We all felt it would be best to do a rough opening installation. We removed the interior casing/exterior casings and removed the old window unit to the rough opening. Midwest Constructions crew installed EcoSmart Casement, Awning, Picture Units, Patio Doors and 2-Lite Slider window units in this project. All of the units were Beige Exterior with Natural Oak Interior Woodgrain. The homeowner stained all of the interior jamb and casing materials.
