The home was built in the early 1980's and the original installed siding was a wood fiber product. Sometime in the late 1990's the previous homeowner had steel siding installed.
In August, of 2020 a Derecho Storm rolled through Iowa and in Grinnell caused some severe hail and wind damage to the home.
Midwest Construction's crew removed both layers of siding and had it hauled away. All exterior walls were covered with house wrap.
All openings have were covered with custom bent aluminum coil stock and then taped off with Green Guard Water/Air prevention Tape.
Soffit and fascia's were covered with maintenance free materials. Finally, Woodsman select premium vinyl siding was installed.
