Adair home's exterior gets updated! New Vinyl Siding!
The home was built in 2003 and the siding was a wood-fiber based product. These products have been around since the middle 1960’s and all have the same issues. The wood absorbs water at the seams, absorbs water as the winter snow builds up against it. The product needed to be maintained every 2-3 year to prevent any damage and needed painting every 10 years or so.
The existing siding was removed and hauled away. The outer walls of the home were wrapped with Grip-Tite house wrap and all window and door openings were tapped with Green Guard. Both products have a purpose, to prevent any water and/or air infiltration.
Color Mocha, American Classic Insulated Double-Six Insulated Vinyl Siding was installed to all of the exterior walls of the home. All of the windows and doors casings were covered with custom bent coil stock with a brick mold pattern. Midwest Construction's crew also covered all of the soffit and fascia on the home with white vinyl soffit and custom bent fascia with brake – buddy pattern rolled into the aluminum to add strength.
The job site was cleaned up daily and all tools secured!
