West Des Moines and Clive, Iowa as well as other communities around the Des Moines, Iowa Metro suffered, high winds, and hail damage, lots of hail damage.

These homeowners had worked with Midwest Construction for their window replacement project. When their home’s roof and siding received hail damage, Midwest Construction was the first call they made.

Midwest Construction promptly scheduled the Exterior Design Consultant who had previously worked with these homeowners. The damage was assessed and exact cost was sent to the homeowners and the insurance company. A few weeks later the paperwork was completed, and 10 weeks later, a Brand New House at the Same Old Address!

The roofing crew was up first: Materials and dumpster were delivered on site and the crew coordinated for installation. 3 days later the roof was done, the yard clean, dumpster and materials picked up.

Next: Siding materials and dumpster were delivered to the site, placed in pre-determined areas and coordinated with the homeowners and Midwest Construction’s production team. The siding crew showed up the next day to get started. They crew spoke with the homeowner’s and job start manager, regarding production time, electric needs, and answered all of their questions.

The siding crew removed the builder’s grade vinyl siding, and wrapped all of the exterior walls of the home with house wrap. The next step, was installing flashing tape around all of the windows and doors. The house wrap and tape prevent wind and water infiltration. When the project was complete, all of the construction debris, and extra materials were hauled away.
