Fantastic Experience
I had all new windows, doors and siding put on my cabin in clear Lake iowa. The cabin has been in my family for 60 years and it looked like it. Bobby Baker came out gave me an estimate, gave me hints on what I should do, was always available for me for questions and opinions when I was choosing colors. Their crews came out as scheduled, installed the windows and doors, then applied the siding in a timely manner. They did an excellent job and my cabin looks fantastic! I will definitely use them again for my home in Ankeny when I'm ready for my four season porch. Excellent service. Excellent people. Always available. I definitely recommend!

I want to let you know how much I appreciate the work that was done at my home, especially the work by Bobby and Ryan. These two gentlemen went above and beyond to help me get a quality storm door from an amazing company. It is evident by the people that work here, that this company is a family, and you treat your customers as such. I have wanted a storm door on this house as soon as I have moved in but never really knew how to get started with this, so I kept pushing it aside. It was this year that I finally thought this was the year. Midwest was the only company I reached out to upon deciding to do this. My parents have always valued the work done by Midwest Construction, since they too have only reached out to Midwest. The amazing work ethic and dedication to making sure everything was done with the highest quality is something that is rare to find but Midwest Construction has those rare qualities and employees with the highest standards. Knowing the work done is backed by an amazing company is such a relief. Repair damaged siding
A few years ago I had new insulated siding installed on my house. My neighbor's lawn mower launched a rock into my siding and punched a hole into it. I had contracted with a Minnesota company, I met at a local home show. When I called them to arrange the repair all I got was the run-around. It was apparent that they were not interested in helping me with my small repair job. I contacted our local Midwest Construction company and talked to Trent. He said that they normally didn't service other company's work, but he would see what he could do for me. He called me five days later and said he had found a sheet of my discontinued siding and he sent a service man out to fix my damage. I can't say enough about how much I appreciated his helping me. My advice to others is to support your local contractors and give them your business. Trent and Midwest Construction went the extra mile for me and I won't forget it. New Windows
We worked with Midwest to replace all of our windows in our almost 100 year old home. Troy was great to work with to explore our options and put a proposal together. Joe was our installer and he was fantastic. He kept us updated each day while he was working, answered any questions we had, was timely, cleaned as he went and took pride in the work. We really appreciated Joe treated our home with the respect he would his own. That means a lot to us. Brent's communication was great leading up to the install and after. The team as a whole has been top notch. Our home is transformed - the windows look great and from the outside the wrapped trim refreshes our curb appeal. On top of it all - the warranty gives us the peace of mind if any issues come up in the future they'll be taken care of. Thank you! We'd definitely recommend MWC and look forward to working with them again in the future.
Old deck to new sun room
We partially replaced a raised deck to add a sunroom. The sunroom access is off a sunken living room. Our salesman, Troy, helped us with decisions regarding size, placement and color as well as explaining how the room adjacent the remaing deck (approximately 10" higher level) would look. Andy kept us abreast of scheduling. We had 2 change orders during the process, both handled quickly. Installer, Shane, removed 10x18' decking the first day. He assembled the room and had roof and windows on between snows & all during bitterly cold weather. He is amazing! An added bonus is the underside of the sunroom gives our lower level patio a nicely finished cover. We used a recommended company for the drywall and trim work. We are using our new room and we're very happy with it & the Midwest Construction team of experts!
