What is Everlast Advanced Composite Siding ?

Everlast™ Siding is a beautiful and realistic looking advanced composite siding that doesn't require painting like wood siding or fiber cement siding.  Because Everlast has no wood additives it will not absorb moisture and will not rot.  Plus the seams are butt joined and not overlapped (like vinyl siding) helping you achieve a look much closer to real wood. Everlast™ is available in 4.5" and 7" exposures.

Everlast Advanced Composite Siding is made from a proprietary mixture of polymeric resin and granular stone giving it strength and durability without sacrificing beauty.  Most importantly there is no wood in the product.  Siding products made with fiber wood products or fiber cement, and pressed boards are prone to decomposing when in contact with moisture.

Everlast Advanced Composite Siding comes with a Lifetime Warranty

Everlast Advanced Composite Siding is so confident that our product will look beautiful for decades to come.  Everlast™ Polymeric Cladding is backed by a transferable Lifetime Performance Warranty.  Thanks to our ColorHold® UV-stable acrylic polymer, your new siding is also covered with Lifetime Fade Protection.  Everlast™ is warranted against hail damage where your homeowner’s insurance may not cover.  Our installers are specially trained to handle and install this unique siding system so that it will look beautiful on your home for decades to come.

Matt Kloberdanz met with these homeowners and they made the decision to have Midwest Construction install Everlast Advanced Composite Siding over Fiber Cement.

Everlast Advanced Composite Siding compared to Fiber Cement Siding:

Fiber cement siding consists of cement (obviously), sand, silica and other additives which are pressured and molded into the finished product.

Up to 5 times the added weight to the sidewalls: Fiber cement, however, is another matter. The word “cement” is the tip-off: the product weighs about 300 pounds per each 100 square feet, versus about 60 pounds for the same amount of vinyl siding.

One of the biggest drawbacks of fiber cement siding is that poor installation could result in a deadly mold build-up.

Installation typically requires a crew of experienced professional installers with specialized expertise and tools. The job is definitely not a do-it-yourself project and, when handled by a contractor, the expense of installing fiber cement represents a greater portion of the total cost of the project than vinyl siding.

** Safety equipment/ Respirator Mask needs to worn because the Silica dust is a danger to those cutting and installing the product if they do not use the right tools.

Color does not go all the way thru and may need sporadic touch ups if chipped or damaged. It still requires painting every 10 to 15 years.  However, Everlast composite siding never needs to be painted.

Some factory paint coats on fiber cement siding could last up to 25 years before painting is required. Everlast Advanced Composite siding will never require repainting, however. Maintenance recommendations for both vinyl siding and fiber cement siding are similar and straightforward—spray down with garden hose or other low-pressure water source every 6 to 12 months, sponge away any dirt or grime with soapy water.

Expansion, contraction and de-lamination can occur in fiber cement siding:
