Original Siding: Hardboard siding – also known as pressboard, Masonite or hardboard siding – is a synthetic home siding product composed of a mixture of wood fibers, glues and resins, all bounded together using heat and pressure.

Midwest Construction removed the wood fiber siding that the home builder installed. Repairs were made to the rotten sheeting exposed in some areas under windows and around the chimney. Proper flashing was installed around the chimney.

The house was prepared for siding by installing house wrap to all of outer walls of the home and attached garage. Protecto Wrap Tape was installed around all of the home’s openings to prevent any wind or water infiltration.

ProVia Willowbrook Double Five Vinyl Siding; Color, Neptune with white outside corner posts and J-Channel was installed.  The Soffit and Fascia was covered in white. Tando Nordic Mist Ledgestone was installed on the front of the home to add accents.
