We LOVE a full remodel! - Take a peek at our latest project we finished up by Belmond, IA. These homeowners were ready to update their 1910 home, and took to the internet in search of Windows, Siding, Roofing and Decking! After a simple search, Midwest Construction was suggested to them. They continued to our site, filled out a quote request, and our Design Specialist Nick was out 4 days later to get started on their plans! They decided on an almost complete overhaul! To start, Midwest Construction went out to replace the roof. The homeowners chose our Malarkey Vista Algae-Resistant shingles. This shingle offers class 4 impact resistant technology and is to withstand up to 110mph winds! Next, Ryan & Joe came out to install 4 brand new double hung vinyl replacement windows. Theses ProVia windows are double pane and argon gas filled. They tilt in for easy cleaning and add tons of energy savings to the home. After the windows were installed, Midwest started on the deck projects! We built a landing with stairs off the back door and then did a gorgeous wrap around on the front of the house. Our TimberTech composite decking, paired with the gorgeous Westbury aluminum railing system will give them plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors for many years to come! Lastly, Shon and Arron went out to install the new siding on the home. These homeowners chose our ProVia insulated siding system in the color Aspen. We first tear off the old siding and then wrap the home in housewrap - taping all openings with infiltration seam tape. This provides a barrier to protect the substructure on the home and create a flat, fresh surface for the new siding to lay. We complete the siding by installing new windows and door wraps, and new soffit and fascia around the eaves of the home. We will be back in the Spring to install their new seamless gutter system and Stone Coat Gutter Cap gutter protection system! We are so happy that these homeowners chose us with their investment, and we are excited for them to enjoy their beautiful new home at the same old address!
